Up for auction, 1953 Desoto Firedome Hemi Convertible, very rare RUST FREE colorado car, stored for the last 40 years, only 1700 produced, one of the last survivors, This car runs and drives and works well, could use front brake work as they grab a little but stops fine, engine runs very smoothly and transmission shifts well...the car was repainted years ago and shows signs of wear and tear, original color was a robin egg blue, firewall is still that color and in nice shape, the convertible top is new and the power top works well, (after going thru motor and oiling up), the interior was redone several years ago and is in nice shape, the bumpers have been rechromed and are very nice, tires are older but hold air, all hubcaps present, ( i suggest a set of kelly-hayes wire wheels and wide whites), the windshield has a crack and needs replaced.underside of car in great original solid condition.always in dry environment.
