Purchased with a history of Single-family 1 owner past. Beautifully Preserved. 1 of only 30 or so remaining, Only 60, 627 original miles. Rarely up for sale, I have found only 3 sales of this model over the past 5 yrs, the lowest at $60, 000 for a very rough rusted example, $115, 500 for a restored car Oct. 2012 and $99, 000 for a restored car Nov. 2014. This car is almost fully original and in beautiful condition in and out. A must for Desoto collectors, American muscle 50's collectors (add to your Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, etc. collection) Hemi collectors, Pace Car collectors, Convertible collectors, etc. Only 400 40th Anniversary Pace Cars produced with only 30 or so known to still exist, this being arguably the best mostly original unrestored example. In 1956 the 330.4-cu.in. Hemi engines output grew from 200 to 255 HP. The Push Button Powerflite Automatic transmission was added. This car was the most expensive offering in the Fireflite lineup, it came with a heavy-duty suspension and nearly every power accessary in the Desoto lineup.
