This 1950 Desoto is for someone who wants a restoration project. All parts are present. The car is presently not drivaeble, although the engine is OK. However, the starter is not attached to the engine. I paid good money to have the starter professionally overhauled, but never did put it back on--it's sitting in the back seat in a box. This car needs a new floorboard, and all new upholstery. The exterior shows no signs that the car was ever wrecked, and it is not rusted out. Has a dent in the trunk lid, but not bad enough to be unrepairable. Actually, the exterior would not be too big of a deal to get it looking nice. The beauty of this project is that all the parts are present. The bumpers are actually quite nice and will not need re-chroming, although some other parts will, as you would expect. The hubcaps look brand new. All in all it's a fairly rough car, but entirely restorable. A brand new Shop Manual is included .Thank you for looking.
For buyer pickup only.
