Description:
The Black Pearl was my daily driver from 2006 to 2008 and has been garage kept ever sense. It's all original OEM solid car that runs and drives. I put new brake pads, rebuild carburetor, replaced lights, ignition coil, sparks plugs and wires. It started up every hot and cold morning and ran great in snow and summer. In 2013 I down sized vehicles was going to make this my grocery and kid getter, but ran across a 1963 Chevy C-10 instead. My wife and I are very close to this car but, I just inherited a 1950 International Farm All Cub from her dad that has more sentimental value. I love this car but need to let it go to someone who can put the time and attention it needs. It begs to be driven!!
I have a full shop manual with data and specs for every component. The transmission shifting issue is most likely electrical solenoid but this manual gives you specs for rebuilding every peace of this car.

| “Drove as a daily driver for 2 yrs, that was 7 yrs ago. Interior is poor(seats,headliner,carpet,door panels) all needs replaced. Front windshield leaks in a down pour. All dash, locks, heater, windows work great. Engine is strong, does not overheat, does not smoke, has a minor oil drip but transmission will not shift to 3rd gear. All other drive train works great. Suspension and Steering is great, but needs brake wheel cylinders. Electrical is still 6 volt positive ground with original braided wiring. All lights work. With little time and care this car would be a very dependable vehicle. Paint is good with a little rust (playing card size) near rear window trim. Floor board (Front and rear) is solid and has been replaced on driver side. Chrome is little barnacle look on grid. No dents or bondo that I can find.” |
