Price: US $14,999.00
1972 Challenger that was previously setup as a race car. The original engine was a 318 but now has a freshly built 440 magnum race engine with 650hp with less than 1300 miles on it. I don't have the exact specs on the engine components but I do know it is not the factory original 440. It cost over $10, 000 to have it built. The previous owner couldn't find the specs. The car has a push start, and switches mounted on dash to for the fuel, lights, and fan. Autometer gauges installed. Speedometer doesn't work, fuel gauge works sometimes. I think the wiring has to be looked at on the some of the gauges. the tailights all works fine. Fuel cell in trunk along with the battery. Aluminum radiator, fiberglass hood with scoop and pins, drum brakes, .First and foremost, the car was converted as a race car when I bought it. You will probably need to replace the rear shocks (racing) to maybe some smooth air shocks. I personally don't race. It had a 6-point roll cage, race seats, fiberglass doors, fenders, bumpers, and hood. Eliminated was the headlights, hvac system, factory gauges, and wipers. My goal was to try to get it back to a regular comfortable street cruiser with an option to still have that race feel in it. I've completed about 80 percent of that goal.
THIS IS WHAT I HAVE EITHER REPLACED OR REMOVED.
- Replaced the fiberglass doors and fenders with doors from a donor car. The fiberglass fenders goes with car. The front bumpers are fiberglass.
- Removed the roll cage
- Added leather bucket seats (from 95 Thunderbird) I do have the factory bucket seats that needs to be upholster. Added rear bench seats.
- Added seat belt.
- Added new bluetooth radio/USB, tablet, pioneer speakers front and rear. 10 subwoofer and 5ch power amp.
- Adder carpeting which is not new 8 out of 10 with sound and heat barrier underneath.
- Added used interior panels on doors and other section.
- Headliner is good.
- New LED headlights and I got the side lamps to go in the fenders.
- Added used 2 speed wiper motor and arm.
- Ran all brand new wiring for lights and wiper.
I am selling the car because I have another project I am devoting my time and money in to. This is a solid car overall. Verrryyy Fasssst!!! One more thing, the title states a 1971 but the VIN truly list it as a 1972. 1970-71 is identical. 1972-74 the tailights and front grill was changed.
Please do not bid if you don't have the deposit or funds to buy this car. Buyers with 10 or less feedbacks must email me first before bidding. I reserve to end this listing at any time.
Happy bidding and email me if you have any questions. Thanks.
