'71 Dodge Challenger R/T 340 Shaker, Concours Gold Winning, 1 of 1 Butterscotch Beauty!
This 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 340 is one of the dozen that escaped the factory with an N96 Shaker original shaker hood and the only one finished out in Butterscotch 'Blonde', and so highly optioned to boot! According to an independent inspector, she retains her original drivetrain, both the engine and transmission are factory original VIN stamped units.
In 2011 she won Concours GOLD at the invitation only indoor concours event, Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals. The excellent workmanship and dogged commitment to detail by the Ken Mosier of The Finer Details paid off. The engine bay is a study in NOS original components, and the interior too, right down to the Executive Package AM/FM Dictaphone. The most significant component on the car that are reproductions are the concours correct Poly-glass tires.
She has been featured twice in Mopar Collector's Guide, first in a full feature article for the December 2011 issue and again in February of 2012. The February mention was regarding MCG's SEMA coverage. DuPont Paint featured this car in their booth because they so impressed with the color and the paint and body workmanship.
