Selling a 1973 Dodge Challenger. Car has a 318 cubic inch engine that has a cam and headers. Car has a lopey idle and sounds mean. Power steering, automatic transmission, new dual exhaust, new Crager S/S wheel with new Firestone Firehawk tires. P215-70R-14 front and P275-60R15 rear. New gas tank. New front and rear bumpers.
Engine bay looks nice. Exterior paint is slick and looks good although not perfect. Car was painted 2 years ago. Red stripe is painted on and clear coated, it is not a stick on decal. Interior is in good shape, seats and headliner do not have any rips, dash is not cracked, newer carpet.
The Challenger does not appear to have had any rust repairs and the body appears to be solid. I bought the car as a father and son project and was intending on putting a big block in it. I have since found a 1970 factory big block Cuda that I am going to buy if I can sell the Challenger. The car looks very nice and will show great at the local cruise night events. The car gets a ton of attention whenever I take it out for a drive.
This would make a great car for anyone wanting a very cool old Mopar to cruise around in or to turn into a mean street machine,
I have set a reasonable reserve on the car as I would like to sell it in order to purchase the Cuda, although if the Challenger does not sell, I'll be happy keeping it and going forward with my original plans of dropping in a big block.
Car is being sold with no warranty and is sold as is.
Funds must clear my bank before car is released. I have the clear Iowa title in my name.
