1973 Dodge Charger Rallye Edition. Super clean, Survivor catagory Original 340 Magnum Engine and 727 Transmission. A57 Rallye Package. 340 Magnum 4 barrel. Automatic 727 transmission. Car has original engine and transmission. Shifts nice. Solid body. Solid floorboards. Solid torque boxes, Wheel wells all solid. Rockers are solid. Doors are solid. Bottom of fenders and quarters solid. Hard to find very clean car. Slap Stik floor console with woodgrain. Nice door panels with woodgrain. Factory Power Bulge Hood. Factory Rallye hood pins. Woodgrain Rallye gauge cluster with Tach and 150 speedo. Rallye Tuff steering wheel. All gauges work except Tach. All signals and lights work. Dual side mirrors. Dual horns. Power steering. Power brakes. Factory front disc brakes. Factory Rallye sway bars front and rear. Factory dual exhaust with Factory chrome Bazooka tips. Performance headers installed, SOUNDS AWESOME! nice rumble at idle Color matched bumpers front and rear. Rear 340 Bumblebee stripe. Updated modern radio unit installed and rear speakers (all nicely installed). Rear package tray is excellent. Dash and door panels in really nice shape. Car came with factory Air Conditioning (previous owner removed compressor and condenser). Factory tinted glass. 4 barrel Carter carb and original cast iron intake removed and a Holley carb and a performance aluminum intake installed (I have original carb and intake manifold and is included with sale). Engine starts right up and runs smooth (Runs and sounds awesome). Nice raised white letter tires with the Factory Rallye wheels. Tires have 50% or more of tread left. Interior is really nice. Nice Black headliner with no rips. Carpet is new. Bucket seats in excellent condition. JY6 Gold Poly original color but not original paint, looks like only one older repaint and the paint job is very nice but is not perfect. Odometer reads 74318 (can't verify if actual, but possible).
Car is originally from Alabama and is rust free. Nice Saturday night cruiser. Drive the car you wanted in High school. Not a show car but a very solid unmolested original car that really turns heads. Runs and drives excellent. Nice original Rallye cars are hard to find (especially with original drivetrain).
Some wiper scratches in windshield. Front valance under bumper has some dents. A few small minor scratches and minor dings here and there. Rear view mirror has some discoloration on the mirror. Rear bumper has some paint scrape touch up. Overall a very nice rare original car but it is a 42 year old car, and not a perfect car. If you want a perfect car...this is not it. This is a car to invest in and enjoy. Paint looks awesome from a few feet away but close up its showing wear and age. Car could use a professional buff, unless someone like me, prefers the survivor patina it has now. The car gets compliments everywhere. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
