1959 Dodge Coronet

Dodge Coronet (1959)
for sale

Price: US $200.00

Description:

Runs and drives but its not always easy. If it sits for a week or two the carb needs primed to start and sometimes will die when you touch the throttle. The trunk is completely rusted out and I put roofing tar on it so I could drive it around without the cabin feeling with exhaust fumes. The driver window is kind of functional and the other windows are stuck up, I took the passenger door innards apart to put the window down {everything is still complete}. the brakes have been gone through and work fine. There's a new fuel tank and sending unit. It will come with a 1959 coronet pamphlet & any receipts I've got on the car. I got it out of Seattle where it was the guys daily driver, then sat for four years till I got it. I just don't have a shop to start really working on it.

“Seems to be all stock, I've got the stock fuel line and pump, missing fin corner trim piece, and hub cap on a factory wheel with a flat tire. INTERIOR- newer looking carpet, no headliner, seats look decent but front has a rip, door panels aren't the best and windows don't roll up and down or at all. someone glued the cigarette lighter on {looks like shit and isn't functional}. BODY- besides the trunk pan being very rusty. There's a spot on the driver door and on the rear pillar to body area, {deep surface rust} and some bubbles on the lower rockers. RUNNING GEAR- the engine runs smooth push button trans works fine rear end hasn't had any issues but a broken spring on a backing plate that got replaced, tires are old.”
