Description:

It's time to move on and anyone that knows about buying antique cars or hot rods knows that there is way more money in this old wagon than I am asking but that's the name of the game. Our family has had fun with this wagon over the years but my kids are older now and there are more things to do than go to hot rod shows as my kids have gotten older. I do not have any time right now to do anything with the car. One note, each door as pinstripe on it in small letters. Drivers side and passenger side say dad and mom and each door in the rear has my kids names. This could be removed or turned into something else.
Selling as is not even shined up right now. If it does not sell I will make repairs clean it up and relist it but at a much higher rate.
So what you have here is really rare complete 1969 Dodge Coronet Wagon with the original 318 in it. It has a Fast Electronic Fuel Injection system on it, an aluminium radiator, all new hoses, AC system added, new interior controls, custom upholstering, new tires, sound deadening, headliner, paint, custom wheels and more. The whole car was taken apart about 5 years ago and redone basically. This a a duel swing back rear door (swings down and out)that still works and so does the power window.
Now here is the old car part... It's been sitting for a year or so now. the door seals are not working properly in the front doors so I have a tarp over the front. Yes I run it around the block every so often but now the freeze plug is no good and radiator fluid runs out of it, plus it now needs tuned up and runs rough. Starts up good with a fresh battery though. The paint is good and will clean up good but it's not 100% show perfect and this was never intended to be that type of hot rod. You will find some flaws in the paint. We used this for fun so it has some wear from that point of view. The interior looks good, but the carpet that is not all that old has faded funny in spots. Seats, headliner and wood interior trim are in good shape though.
I don't want this thing to just sit here and and fall apart there is like $25k in this thing. I would rather see someone clean it up, fix it up and have fun with it. Clean title. I am starting it out with a really low reserve.
Yes you could drive it home if it was cool out, but with fluid not staying in the car I would not chance it. Plan on having it towed at this point. If it does not sell I will make repairs clean it up and relist it but at a much higher rate.
Note: Mileage is an estimate. I believe it to be between 90k and 115k. I am the 3rd owner, however I know the history on the car and I know the original owner who passed away a number of years ago. He used the car as a traveling salesman for a toner and printer company.
