Us Oldtimers remember this car well. They saw it every Saturday night at 9:00 PM on the Lawrence Welk television show. It came across the stage in all of its splendor surrounded with pretty girls in can can skirts.
The former owner bought it from a estate here in Florida that was liquidating a Model T Collection. The Dodge was the late owners personal car. It never got used much so it is really in nice and original conditions, with only 47.000 original low miles! It will turn heads everywhere you go. I`m the third owner.
These 59` Dodges are almost extinct, and they becoming to be very high desirable collectors pieces, and their prices just growing up fast, better than any other stock market investment that you could do, and if you are reading this probably you know very well that is very rare to find an original and solid survival specimen. Just in comparsion, if you search around you will find all the time few 59 Caddys for sale, even some 59 Buicks or Olds, inclusively 59 Edsels, but definitively not a 59 Dodge!
And this is not a restoration, just a really really nice car, whit his original factory metal ! Underneath is solid also, just with the common surface rust.
It starts runs and drives just like it was new. The radio plays good AM rhetoric such as Rush Limbaugh and other conservative talk show hosts. The car begs for attention!
This car had one of the most beautiful, impressive and personal designs from the fifties. The agressive look and the elegance from the fins are unique touchs of majesty! Of course some minor cosmetic flaws are present like we can expect for an 57 years old original car.
But it is a true lifetime opportunity which you will need to catch with the heart, as it will be the last time that I will list it. After the end of the auction (if it dont sell) I will ship it overseas and probably you never will heard about it again.
