99' Dodge Dakota R/T edition. I have owned this truck for 15+ years. In 99 R/T was more than just a trim package, factory equipped with the last of the 360ci. motors, 4.11 posi rear end, lower 3 in the front and 4 in the back, oversized sway bars, 3 exhaust, 17x9 wheels, ect. This truck is in like new (mint) condition. With only 31, 000 original miles it has been babied its entire life. Runs and drives like new, and everything is in excellent working condition. Have all manuals and Still have the original window sticker. If you missed out on one of these trucks when they first came out, this might be the closest thing to a second chance you're gonna get. The miles that are on it are 90% highway as i used it to travel down south a couple of time a year. truck is all original except for a K n N filter and the tint on the windows. always regular main. done. Has never seen snow and probably only driven in the rain less than 1/2 a dozen times. always garaged. Never even had anything in the bed. Just put 2 new yokohama geolander tires on the back and the 2 fronts are still the factory originals. Basically this is a brand new R/T for less than half the money. And negotiable. Been in storage for the last couple of years and i am just on to other projects.With a thorough cleaning, it could go right back on the showroom floor. AND THE FACT THAT I HAVE TO LABEL MY TITLE LEMON & MANUFACTURER BUYBACK. IT DOES NOT SAY THAT ON THE TITLE. BUT I LOOKED INTO THIS AND HERE IS WHAT I FOUND. IN THE FIRST YEARS THAT THE R/T VERSION OF THE DODGE DAKOTA WAS MADE , DODGE ADVERTISED THIS TRUCK AS HAVING A 6000 lbs. TOWING CAPACITY. IT DID NOT. BECAUSE OF THE REAR END AND SUSPENSION MODIFICATIONS FROM THE FACTORY TO MAKE THIS A SPORT TRUCK IT REALLY COULD ONLY TOW ABOUT 2000lbs. WHEN DODGE REALIZED THIS IT WAS TO LATE . SO INSTEAD OF HAVING MANY LAWSUITS FILED AGAINST THEM THEY DECIDED TO OFFER A BUY BACK PROGRAM TO ANYONE WHO BOUGHT ONE OF THESE TRUCKS BRAND NEW. TURN YOUR TRUCK INTO THE DEALERSHIP WITHIN A YEAR AND WE'LL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK. IT WAS ONLY IN CERTAIN STATES THAT THE TITLE WAS BRANDED MANUFACTURER BUY BACK. OTHER STATES DID NOT. BUT ALL R/T DAKOTAS MADE THESE YEARS HAD THE SAME ISSUE. IT WAS UP TO THE STATE AND THEIR OWN LAWS AS HOW THE TITLE GOT LABELED. OR BRANDED. MY TRUCK WAS SOLD BRAND NEW IN INDIANA, TURNED IN 10 MONTHS LATER AND THEN SOLD TO A DEALER IN OHIO WHO I BOUGHT THE TRUCK FROM. I HAVE OWNED IT SINCE THEN. THIS ISSUE HAS NEVER COME UP , IT HAS NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM AND UNTIL THE TIME OF THIS LISTING. IF I WAS TOLD ABOUT THIS AT THE TIME I PURCHASED THE TRUCK I DON'T REMEMBER. AND LIKE I SAID IT HAS NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE. CHECK INTO THIS YOURSELF IF YOU LIKE , I GOT A LOT OF MY INFO FROM THE DAKOTA R/T CLUB OF AMERICA. WHICH THIS TRUCK IS REGISTERED WITH. EBAY MOTORS AND AUTOCHECK INSIST THAT I EXPLAIN THIS AS THEY WILL NOT. THEY ARE CONTENT SMEARING IT WITH NO EXPLANATION AND THEIR LABELING LEMON / MANUFACTURE BUYBACK SHOULD NOT BE IN THE SAME SENTENCE. IT IS WRONG AND THE LEMON ATTACHMENT IM SURE WILL END UP HURTING MY SALE. THIS TRUCK IS NO LEMON AND I ASSURE YOU THIS TRUCK IS LIKE NEW, AND RUNS, DRIVES AND SHOWS THAT WAY.
