Up for auction is this 1975 Dodge pickup truck D100 with only 85890 miles.
Truck history***
She was with the same family for most its life in Iowa. The original owner passed it to his son who a few years back brought it to Phoenix, AZ and kept it here and three years ago sold it to the family I bought it from a few months ago. Comes with the original receipt and manuals seen in pictures.
She is 40 years old and needs someone to bring her back to her glory days
Truck has never been in an accident and the Title is clear.
She was not run for more than two years, to make it a runner I:
Rebuilt the carburetor.
Cleaned the gas thank.
Changed the gas line.
Replaced the fuel pump.
Complete tune up changed the oil and air filter, spark plugs etc.
Replaced some hoses including the lower radiator hose.
Replaced the battery.
Changed the transmission fluid and gasket.
Flushed the radiator.
Replaced the rear breaks.
Truck is running fine.
Took some photos while running
it so you can see the gauges/meters and speedometer.
Motor and Transmission work fine.The motor is a 318 / 5.2
The body as seen in pictures is very straight.
The lights all work fine. The doors open and close fine.
The locks go up and down fine. Key opens and locks both doors fine.
The windows go up and down fine and the little windows for the wind open and close fine.
The glass is almost in perfect.. it has a 1/4 inch crack on windshield at lower left corner of driver side.
Aftermarket CD with a remote control works fine (remote control needs new battery).
Wipers do not work. needs arms and motor
Truck did not come with AC , you may put one if desired.
The paint is fading and cracking in some areas.
The mirrors have not cracks
The bed was sprayed in black.
The tires are in fair condition, have good tread left on them.
The horn does not work.
There is an oil leak, I added a lucas stop leak as recommended by mechanic, seals might be a little dry.
It has two sets of rims that are different as former owner could not find all the same.
The seat has some rips as seen in pictures.
There is rust in the bottom of truck and inside bottom of the doors, none outside of body that I see.
* IMPORTANT:
I had not used the truck for a couple months and just noticed the speedometer and gas gauge are NOT working, they were working fine as you see in the pictures, but now they are not.
