Mopar Lover's, Look at this one! Up for auction is an amazing and very cool garage find. This is a one owner, 72, 923 actual mile, 1966 Dodge Polara sedan. It features the famous 383 Big Block and Torqueflite 727 transmission. It has been kept in dry storage for many years, and had been kept in top running order during that time. It recently had a full tune-up, all fluids changed, new battery, brakes were all gone through, and the carburetor rebuilt. It is ready to drive. Overall the car is extremely solid, however there are a couple of bad areas that will need restoration. The rear quarter panels and dog leg have rust that has been poorly repaired and can repaired or replaced. The front lower part of the fender has some small rust that also can be easily repaired. Otherwise this car has some amazing areas. The floor pans and frame rails and under carriage are in very good condition and are not rotten. The interior is in excellent condition overall with the exception of a couple of very small easy fixes on the seats. The dash is probably the nicest I have ever seen. Door panels, headliner are all in well above average condition. The top is original and also in excellent condition. Not pictured are the rear quarter panel skirts and extra wheel covers in the trunk. The chrome and bright work are in well above average condition with the exception of a small spot on the rear bumper. This will make for a very easy restoration, driver or treasure trove of parts??? I recently installed the set of of vintage polyglas wide white wall tires that are in nearly new condition. These had been kept in dry storage for countless years too. This is a car that you will appreciate more in person than by description but just too many areas to cover that are worth mention. It runs and drives great and is a blast to drive around. It is a great car and needs a good home!!! I have way too many projects to keep it.
