I am selling a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. It is an extended cab, quad (4-door) 2wd model. The rear bed is a full 8 feet long. This truck is being sold as part of an estate sale. It has a clean title (no liens or anything), no mechanical issues, and has always been very well maintained. The truck has had only 2 owners (current owner purchased in 2013) and currently only 60K original miles on it. It has been a Florida vehicle from day one (so absolutely no rust!). It is red on the outside, and tan on the inside. Options include leather interior, rear optional cab cover, metal running boards, tow hitch, all power options (windows, etc), cd player. We have 2 sets of original keys with two more keys for the cab cover and the hitch. We also have some service records, including recent services done just a month ago (oil and fluid changes, 4 BRAND NEW tires all around, and overall mechanical check-up) This is a rare find with this mileage, and in this condition!
EXTERIOR:
The outside of the car is in excellent condition. It has always been a Florida car, so there is no rust anywhere. There are no dents/scratches, nothing like that. And paint is very shiny except on the roof (Florida sun discolored a few spots, please see pictures). The body itself is very straight and excellent. Paint on car is overall very glossy and looks beautiful!
INTERIOR:
The interior of the car is in great condition. The leather seats are all supple and look great (only driver's seat has threading that's loose near the bolster, nothing major). Heat is hot/AC is cold, and all power/electronic options work as they should. It is a non-smoker car. The only thing to note is a couple of rips in the front of the headliner (please see picture). Other than that, everything on the inside is very straight.
MECHANICALLY
Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car tomorrow from Florida to New York and then back. Considering the maintenance and the condition, you can be assured it is in excellent shape mechanically. The car has always been looked upon and does not currently need anything. Maintenance has always been kept on it, and it's ready to go anywhere.
As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. If you're looking for a rare and low-mileage Dodge Ram that was always looked upon, this is it. Please know the car is being sold AS-IS without any warranty implied or expressed. Understand that this is a used older car, so don't expect it to be perfect.
