I purchased this truck in 2000 for my business. It was a lease fleet truck. I drove it as my primary vehicle for a few years, then just used it in winter weather and to pull a trailer. I always repaired anything that went wrong - new A/C compressor, had the rear end rebuilt, fixed the brakes, etc. The motor has always ran like a champ and still does today. Starts right up and goes - no problem. Electric windows and locks all work.
The major problems with this truck are the transmission and the rust. The clear coat is also peeling on the small driver side door and the driver side bed. The transmission is slipping and was leaking until I put stop leak in it. It also does not shift out of low all the time. You will need to re-build the transmission or buy a used one. It still goes, but is slipping real bad. The rust is all over the truck below the doors and in the wheel wells as you can see from the pictures. There are cracks on the dash, but not as bad as you would expect for a 1999 Dodge truck. The 4WD works great. The heat and A/C works. I am not sure if the cassette player works, but the radio does works, but all the speakers do not work. Not sure what else to say - I would still be driving the truck to pull my boat and when it snows in the winter, if the transmission worked.
The truck is as-is and you will need to pick it up at my home. Payment will be cash. I have a clear title. I will be happy to answer any questions. It has 159, 500 miles. Tires are OK but have wear on them.
