I bought this truck from a friend who ordered and took delivery new. So I know all the trucks history. When it was new he had the following customization done:
Lowered front and rear. Gives it a great stance and handles well with a lower center of gravity. Spray in bedliner from Rhino, bed cover from Fold-a-Cover, Custom paint-matched running boards, Sirius/XM radio, Mangaflow exhaust, Air Raid Cold Air Intake, Electric brake controller in cab and Goodyear rear air-springs for better handling when towing and carrying larger payloads (if you have not had a truck with these, you will never want to do without them again).
I have recently updated with 2012 20 Dodge Ram wheels and Tires with less than 5, 000 miles.
Have had regular maintenance includuing new front brakes with new pads and rotors also less than 5000 miles ago. The original brakes went over 110, 000 miles. All oil changes have been done with synthetic oil and always done between 3500 and 7500 miles depending on driving conditions.
This is an incredibly reliable truck with the ONLY repairs done have been a faulty evaporative emissions sensor.
I usually only keep my vehicles for about 2 years, but this is such an enjoyable truck to drive I can't believe I have had it 10 years. It has a mellow power sound from the Magnaflow exhaust that is not loud in the cab unless you accelerate hard and then it has a deep growl.
