It is my belief that this particular truck is getting next to impossible to find, but please you do some research and find out for yourself. It’s my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 4X4 with the indestructible 12 Valve Cummins Turbo Diesel and ultra desirable 5-Speed Transmission. This truck is not a previous ranch/farm truck that was “restored” this is an all original un-restored/un-molested truck that was previously owned in Maryland and well kept and currently in excellent original condition. Read on for a full description.
Mechanically this truck is superb. Motor starts up smoothly with no smoke or hesitation. No blow by or smoke when warm. Transmission shifts beautifully and clutch feels good, front end is as tight as the day it was new. I just had it through Stringent PA state inspection and we installed two new front calipers and pads, new steering box, new steering pump, rear axle seals and oil change and chassis grease, all else was well above state standards. Tires are 85% tread and wearing evenly. This truck must have only been used in the summer for hauling the RV to and from the campground because it doesn’t show much wear if any outside of your normal stone chip behind the wheel wells and light scratch and tiny door ding here and there, this one is a beaut. Once again, this truck is unrestored, meaning I did not even spray one ounce of rattle can black on the frame or suspension parts, it’s original and near flawless under there! This truck drives like a dream, motor is strong but it may not be what you expect because it’s a 215 HP non-modified 12 valve (very slow until the turbo boosts) but this is the one for the Dodge Purest that wants one all original, the only two aftermarket items are 4 piaa fog lights behind the grill and straight pipe added where the muffler once was, still all original exhaust. It drives nice and straight and the brakes stop straight with no pulse or pulling. Go 85 MPH across the country and back, its that good.
Cosmetically, I personally don’t think a truck of this vintage gets any better. Not many door dings or chips but please expect some as it is an all original paint 17 year old truck. The inside of the bed could use a nice rhino liner as the paint is original and some areas have paint scrached/scuffed off. The bumpers are clean and nice as well. The interior is the same way, very nice. No funny odors, no stains or rips, he must not have worked this thing at all. All the options work including, power windows and locks, heat and A/C, CD player and cruise also work well. No rips in the seats, carpets look like new and the headliner is up tight and clean.
Not often do you find a 1998 12 valve 5-Speed then to find a club cab, 4X4, unmodified, unmolested, wholesome one like this. I have a clean and clear PA title in hand and ready to sell. Feel free to contact me at 717-991-8991 my name is Travis.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 will be due at the end of the auction within 24 hours. The remainder will be due at delivery of the vehicle or within 7 days.
