1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 with a 5 speed manual transmission.
With only 65, 000 miles
. It is an extended cab long bed. It is the SLT package so it has the power options, air conditioning, and the driver’s seat has power. The truck is in excellent shape. Here is the best representation that I can give of this truck. I will try to do this truck justice while being careful not to oversell it.
Mechanical
: Everything works. The 12 valve Cummins fires right up and runs strong. Transmission is tight. The engine is stock. Stock air box and exhaust. Cruise control works like a champ. The truck has brand new rotors and brand new ceramic pads on the front. It was pulling to the right when I was braking. It took a little while to figure out what the problem was but it turned out to be the flex line on the drivers side was either collapsing when braking or it had some blockage inside. After replacing that line the truck stayed straight while applying the brakes. It wasn’t that bad before but it is really nice now. I have gotten as much as 23 miles per gallon on the freeway with this truck. That is unloaded of course. It gets around 18 in town. Again that is unloaded. I don’t really track what I get when I haul stuff because it is never usually the same weight.
Body
: The paint on this truck overall is nice. The grey stripe has been redone and looks good. The mask line below the gas cap isn’t perfect but I’ll bet you wouldn’t have noticed it until you got this home and washed it by hand. A few of the panels have been repainted. The passenger side bedside and the hood have both been done. The bedside looks awesome. It was a really nice job and matches the stock paint job really well. The hood isn’t perfect but it looks okay. Don’t get me wrong it isn’t a rattle can paint job it was done professionally, I just have noticed a sand mark here and there. The tailgate has or had a dent in it just below and to the right where the “DODGE” emblem is. It may have been pulled out but you can still see it if you are at the right angle. There are small door dings that I have tried to capture in the pictures. The roof of the truck needs to be re-painted in my opinion. It is spider webbed and the top of the passenger door has some paint coming off(See Pictures). I have over 100 pictures of the truck on the photo bucket link here in the description. I have done that so you know what you are bidding on. Please take a look at all of them before bidding.
The inside bed is stock. Never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch. It has a plastic bed liner in it that is in great shape. The truck doesn’t have keyless entry.
Interior: Carpet is clean and so are the seats. The driver’s seat does have what appears to be the beginning of the wear spot that occurs right along the edge of the seat that is closest to the door. The dash is in great shape as is the back seat and carpet back there as well. The airbag light IS on
. I don’t know why and I haven’t tried fixing it. No other lights are on. I should tell you that the truck smells like a mix of old man and his dog. I purchased the truck from an auto broker in Oregon. So I don’t know the complete back story of the truck but I have vacuumed up some dog hair. It doesn’t stink but it isn’t exactly new car scent either.

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. That being said, I will do what I can to make things easier (I will meet you at the airport or cooperate with reasonable requests from your shipper).
A $1, 000 dollar non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction close. The balance is due within 7 days of auction close. I am okay to use PayPal for the deposit. The balance will need to be cash or cashier’s check. I will expect to see a picture of the check before you make the trip. I know this should go with out saying but neither the truck nor the title will leave my possession without full and complete payment.
