Former Arizona sign company truck. Before trouble-free 2, 300 mile drive Phoenix to FL departing on 115° day maintaining constant cruise-controlled 55mph and 12mpg, replaced front brakes, ALL engine belts and hoses, flushed radiator and tranny, changed all filters, checked all lights functional, filled with ?40?gals and headed east.
On arrival, lift section was functionally checked, safety-inspected, cleaned and lubed by Stamm Manufacturing of Fort Pierce.
Have used this now unregistered, uninsured, uninspected vehicle quarterly past few years around airpark to trim palm trees and repair/paint hangars.
Due to recent amputation no longer able to enter bucket or service vehicle so it has been sitting idle stored indoors and periodically started.
Plenty of tread all 4 tires BUT must be trailered or towed from here and not driven on public roads until thorough inspection to reconfirm/restore roadworthiness.
Bucket is powered by one or more deep cycle batteries (one will go with it) running hydraulic pump through switch box and three servos (one recently replaced). Works fine from inner console but recommend rewiring bucket switch panel sometimes intermittent. In/Out and Up/Down movements are 100% while turntable rotation is smooth but recently was noticing balky worm drive gear engagement needing adjust or replace.
