Very nice survivor condition four door hardtop. This is a very classy, driver quality Edsel.
The E475
410 cu. in engine
starts quickly, runs smoothly, drives straight.
New dual exhaust was installed 3 years ago but has developed an exhaust leak on passenger side. Tires are in great condition but old, (they say Sears on them). Radio works. Small power steering leak. Exhaust is somewhat loud but not intolerable.
We drive it regularly and have not experienced any overheating or stalling.
Equipped with the Tele shift, push button transmission controls, it shifts and drives as it should
The floating speedometer is functional and looks great!
There is a small area of rust bubbling on one rear wheel well lip. Possibly an older repaint, you can see a little evidence of overspray in the jams. Paint has chips and scratches but overall presents very well.
Interior fabric is nice and still under plastic bubble covers with one small slice on the drivers back. Dash is perfect as is all glass. Windows operate smoothly with all weatherstrips in place. Stainless trim is all there and in good condition.
Car shows just over 34K miles which is believed to be accurate and comes with documentation.
Located near Springfield, Missouri. We encourage interested parties to come see the car, as it looks as good in person as it does in the photos. Local pickup, although we can give contact information for transport.

The car came from the collection of Donald E Stephens II in Rosemont, IL. At the time the owner purchased it in 2008, the car had 34000 miles. The engine is strong, starts and runs well. Brakes, power steering and transmission are also in very good condition. The car had new exhaust installed about 3 years ago, but it sounds like there might be a small exhaust leak up by the manifold. The interior is original, down to the bubble wrapped seats. Door panels are good, without tears, warping and damage.There are chips in the paint, you can expect to see some pitting on chrome, but overall, the car presents itself very well.
