VEHICLE WAS SOLD BUT BUYER FAILED TO PAY AND QUIT RESPONDING TO NUMEROUS EMAILS. 1959 Pink (original color) Edsel Corsair 4dr. 332 V-8, automatic transmission.
Great whitewall tires, interior needs absolutely nothing and looks great including carpeting. 2 spd auto transmission. All of the glass is intact. Good looking body; all of the chrome is there (one piece is off of the car but I have it). Lights, brake lights work. Even the glove box and interior floor lights. Like new headliner. Rebuilt Carburetor but I think somethings not right with it. I can get it to start, but can’t keep it running. Radio works once the tubes warmed up. Battery purchased last year, new voltage regulator. Odometer reads 20452, unknown actual miles as I've only owned it two years.
Generator has been replaced, but isn't working (at least the generator light on the dash is on). .think it's a wiring issue to the regulator which is also new. Small rust in one quarter panel (see photo). Also the right side of the trunk, body is pushed in. Can be pullled out if you know body work, which I don't. Car has a bench power front seat but motor isn't working.
Super solid car, very little rust. This is a great classic with only a small quantity made in 1959, who knows how many are still out there in this good of shape….not many! Interior is in excellent condition, also have five hubcaps, original jack and spare.
