1959 Edsel Villager 6 passenger station wagon.
A rare, straight and rust free body makes this desirable and rare Edsel a must for any serious collector. An unusually, low production station wagon survivor with less than 10% of the original production run of just 5, 687, makes this car special.
The Edsel makes a strong presentation neatly painted in its original correct Redwood Metallic with Snow White accents over a very nicely preserved interior in buff vinyl with white vinyl accents and straw (colored) vinyl inserts.
The Edsel is powered by a smooth running 1959 332 CID Express V8 coupled to a dependable Mile-O-Matic automatic transmission.
The original die-cast trim ranges from excellent to very good condition as the images clearly show. While the exact history of the car is unclear the condition of the chrome and body indicate that it was garaged and not exposed to Northeast winter weather. The Bumpers and horse-collar grill are in excellent restored condition as are the stainless side trim. The car has new brake system for sure safe stops including master cylinder, wheel cylinders and front brake drums. The Edsel has a new fuel tank, sending unit and a complete fuel system check.
