Ferrari’s 400i, introduced in 1976, was a successor to the 365 GT/4 2+2. A four-passenger GT car, it has a Pininfarina-designed body and optional automatic transmission. Produced in limited numbers, it is considered by many to be a contemporary classic.

Ferrari neglected to build a convertible version of the 400i, but some customers were not to be deprived.
