The car for sale was produced in Italy in 1965 and had a complete mechanical and body work restoration in 2015 in Catania - Sicilia(Italy).
This car is very very very rare car !!!
Fiat Nuova 500 was introduced in 1957 and soon realized Abarth versions of the elaborate mechanics. The first 500 developed by Abarth was built for the Turin Motor Show in 1957 and later produced in small numbers. It is a car developed by using special pieces built by Abarth that remains almost unchanged the appearance of the model from which it derives.
For demonstration headline about the robustness of the engine, despite the significant increase in power, in the months of September and October of 1958, they were organized several test sessions, at Monza sull'autodromo. An Abarth 500, equipped with aerodynamic body specially designed by Pininfarina, won 28 speed records on various distances, conducted by drivers like Giancarlo Baghetti, Mario Poltronieri and Corrado Manfredini. In one of the tests, the machine turned without stopping for 7 days at an average speed of 111 km / h.
In 1963 he was presented with the 595, produced until the end of 1971 in two series: the first (from '63 to '65) had the body of the 500 D; the second (from '65 to '71) had the 500 F bodywork. The Abarth received from FIAT incomplete car and rode on them the special pieces. These parts were composed of the dashboard (where funding is specific instrumentation speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel level and oil temperature gauge), 3-spoke steering wheel, double-barrel carburetor Solex C 28 PBJ mounted on a special aluminum housing, aluminum oil pan , suction and discharge system of the specific gas, etc. Also mention the fact that these versions of the tailgate, which closed the engine placed on the rear of the car, was raised with catches to increase the cooling of the motor itself and therefore its efficiency. Once assembled, the '595 Abarth' were sold through its dealers.

In February 1964 he was instead presented the 595 SS with a top speed increased to 130 km / h. In the 695 and 695 SS, both the same year were also presented with a total displacement of 689 cm³ and a maximum speeds of 140 km / h and 150 km / h. In September 1965 it was introduced the 695 SS Assetto Corsa, replaced in 1969 by the 695 SS Competizione.
The Red and White lather interior was also re-done in 2015. This was a very meticulous and ch
omprehensive renovation and the end-result is spectacular.
At a recent event, this biutifull car was valued over EURO 125, 000.
Since its 2015 restoration, the car has covered only 200 km.
It runs perfectly, with all switches and gauges working properly, it is a great fun to drive, and it is a great attention getter.
The car is also registered with ASI, the official Italian Historic Vehicle Register that accepts only vehicles with 100% original parts, and high standard renovations.
