Description:

This Fiat 124 Spider was completely restored from the bottom up completed in October 2014. I have driven the car as my daily driver since then. I will list the good and the bad. This car is being sold as is and remember it's 38 years old. Everyone wants to know what it is? It's a head turner.
The Good
Brand new top
100% new interior: Seats, dash, all gauges working, door cards, carpet, shifter, Alpine stereo, wood steering wheel. just to name a few.
New engine, not a rebuilt but nos from Midwest Fiat, Rebuilt heads, Electronic distributor, aluminum radiator, electric fuel pump, 90 amp alternator
100% new front end including shocks and springs. rear shocks and springs are not installed, but will include.
Great wheels and tires and original wheel and tires will be included.
Headers and performance exhaust system from Vics Fiat.
New luggage rack.
New calipers and rotors installed during resto.
The Bad
Paint job is good, not great
Oil leak, pretty sure is rear main seal is defective. Engine new and transmission rebuilt
Install new wiring harness from Painless, but have had electrical issues. Ignition replaced three time. I believe I have solved the problem by relieving the load and installing a push button starter switch
Right rear bearing needs replacing, have new parts
Some rust starting to show on rear fender flares. I have new fender flares which are worth 300 dollars and will include if buy it now price is received.
Fiat spider are great fun cars to drive but they are famous for rust and electrical issue. This Fiat is no different.
This Fiat lived as a beach car in Daytona Beach and had a lotta rust. All was cut out and replaced with new sheet metal.
The spider keeps stalling and I've decided to move on with my other restoration and not put any more money into it .The car has over 15, 000 dollars invested. This Fiat is at a steal @ 5 grand.
Buy a new wiring harness from painless for 400.00 and fix the problem.
