I bought this car from the original owner in 2012. It has 39, 000 original miles. It is in very good condition, and can be restored or used as a fun daily driver. With two grandkids and too many projects, it is time for it to go to someone with more time than I have.
Here is what I have done. New rebuilt 5 speed transmission, new convertible top, new rear exhaust section and muffler, new battery and terminals, new plug wires, plugs, etc. New front left caliper and pads. New actual workshop manual.
Here is what it needs to be complete.. Interior center console around the gear shift lever should be replaced. It will need a new thermostatic fan sensor. Fan and radiator work fine, but the fan runs full time. There are some very minor cracks in the seats, but they are totally functional. The car could use paint. Although it is solid, there are some small nicks around the door, paint crazing, and several minor dents. The only paint bubbling is a 6 inch section at the top of the right quarter panel. I have included pictures.
Tires are Dunlop GT Qualifiers 205/60 R 13 on Alloy Cromadora rims. Plenty of tread left.
Some quirks. This car has AC...not sure why. It runs fine, but I had planned to remove it. The key was either lost at one point or the ignition switch failed. The previous owner put in a replacement switch, but I have all the keys, and the original ignition is there..
