Price: US $5,400.00
Fiat 2300 from 1966 in the documents (the ex-owner told me that the car is from 1964), 143159 kilometers, engine 2279 cmc with 6 cilinders (great sound, italian muscle) that runs perfect, 105 hp, rear wheel drive. History : the first owner of the car was the Chief of Cabinet of the Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania from that period (only the state institutions or important persons could have such a car in that period), after a few years it was sold to the second owner that was a doctor and after the car was bought by me last year. The car stayed in a garage for the last 11 years, until I bought it and since then I invested work, time and money in it, changing(clutch pump, clutch hose, spark plugs, oil and filter, clutch & brake liquids, different hoses etc) and restoring(the water pump, brake pump, clutch cilinder, the radiator, the fuel pump, the carburetor etc) different parts . ORIGINAL NEW parts that I have for the car (included in the price) : 2 sills, carburetor complete kit with instructions, 4 wheel ball bearings - 2 small + 2 big, 3 tripper cap gaskets + others, delco cap, complete distribution, Magnetti Marelli coil and some second parts like the rubber for the little window, clutch disk, a dirrection or brake pump(I don`t know exactly), air filter, a part from the front bumper, one ornament that comes over the lights of the car, some bushes and other iron parts. I also have the instructions & repair book of the car. The Fiat 2300 is a very rare car and the prices are getting higher and higher, it`s a good investment and a restored Fiat 2300 can get to 25.00.-30.000 euros nowadays...not including the original new parts that I have for the car that you can`t find anymore or if you do, they cost a fortune !

“The car needs to be restored:it has te right sill damaged(even if it can be remade without problem,I also got 2 NEW ORIGINAL sills),under the car where the driver and passenger seat is rust and metal eaten by it(this model of Fiat`s problem),under the back bumper is another rust problem and from what I`ve seen I think this is all,so the car is in very well condition for it`s age.It had a small accident in front(right)of the car and it wasn`t repaired well and the paint is in 2 different nuances of green(the previous owner didn`t match with the right colour and in some small places near the hood the paint doesn`t exist anymore). The exhaust has a few holes from the rust, the clutch doesn`t function so well(sometimes it does, sometimes no),the tires are old and used(they stay inflated like the normal ones),seats & carpet 2 be restored. Most of these problems can be solved by specialists that I know(ex-workers@Fiat that worked on this Fiats)for a very good price!” |
