I'm selling this car for a friend who is selling his Fiat collection one at a time (please don't ask me about what other cars he has as they are not for sale yet)
This particular California X1/9 belonged to Tony Toscano, the Fiat guru well known by the brand entusiasts in Southern California.

Vehicle Condition
You
are bidding on an 1974 Fiat X1/9 First year of production. (Currently registered
in California) Clear Title in hand, in
great condition inside and out. Only 23, 000 original miles.
Body: no rust, no dents. Absolutely
straight and with no signs of accident
damage. Glass in excellent shape. All floors are original.
Paint: hyper glossy red
paint. Paint looks very good and extremely shinny all around; Vehicle has been
repainted last year with premium paint and clear coat and then wet sanded and
polished. The car was mostly stripped when painted.
Exterior: original euro bumpers are in
very good shape (lights and plastics in very good shape with no fading or
cracking.
Wheels: Campagnolo alloy wheels in excellent shape structurally and cosmetically
. No curb damage.
Engine: original
1300cc SOHC, Excellent, Always starts at the first turn, idles smooth, runs great
and powerful, doesn't burn or take any
oil. no leaks. No smoke.
Clutch: in good
shape, no vibrations or slipping. Pedal moves effortlessly.
Mileage: 23000
miles since new
Gearbox: Four
speed, Excellent, Shifts smooth and precise. Synchros are good. No noises or weird sounds!!. no leaks!!
Suspension and Steering:
Excellent ride, feel very solid and stable. Springs and shocks in very good
shape all stock. Steering feels firm. The upper shock rubber bushings look old
and with some cracks but still hold very well.
Brakes: Good
condition. Car stops straight with no
vibrations or noises.
Instruments and Warning lights: All in
perfect working condition. All external lights, turn signals, hazard lights, high beams, instrument cluster lights in perfect working condition.
Speedometer and odometer are working fine.
Climate Control: Heater
works fine. Blower works.
Interior: Seats in
excellent shape, carpet in good shape but slightly faded, Headliner in very
good shape, dashboard in good shape but with 2 long cracks across the middle, center console in very good shape, door panels in very good shape. This is a
non-smoker vehicle!
Tires: tires are
almost new in four corners. Spare tire in good shape.
Sound System: original
Fiat vintage stereo works. Miscellaneous: Jack and
wrench included.
Car History: Car belonged to Fiat guru, Tony Toscano. He
was the most reputable Fiat mechanic in Los Angeles, who later owned a Fiat
Dealership. He used to keep the best cars for himself. My friend purchased
several cars from him along the years. They are still close friends.
Car is dependable and can be driven anywhere.

This 42 years old jewel drives excellent, looks nice and needs
virtually nothing!!
I describe the vehicle as accurately as
possible; however there is no possible way to know everything about a vehicle
that has been previously driven subjected to normal wear and tear, both
cosmetically and mechanically. (unable to run Carfax report due to vehicle
age).

Vehicle is sold as is. No warranty. Balance due within 7 days and
payable in cash, cashiers check, or wire transfer. Wire
transfer preferred. Note: Cashiers checks usually
take longer to clear (California
banks place up to 10 days hold on out of state cashiers checks due to fraud
protection policies). Car will be released once funds clear in my account
Shipping: Buyer has
to make all arrangements with the carrier. I don't provide shipping
estimates but I can email you a list of carriers you can
call to get shipping quotes. I ‘m willing to transport the car to the shipping terminal of your
choice within 50 miles
