The basics 1.5 litre engine with a 5 speed. It has 84, xxx miles on it. 427 mile since major engine freshen up and rebuild. Factory Red with Drag Z cd-20 rims with 195/45/15s
The good! Runs Great. I had the entire top end rebuilt to freshen up the power plant. Complete from Block up! All of this work was done by local Auto shop.
All parts that where put back in are performance new or professionally rebuilt components. All of these parts came from Matt at Midwest Bayless still have most receipts. Parts in total from Matt alone equal more than asking price. The transmission had complete rebuild at the same time. All necessary bearings and synchronizers replaced. All these Parts are from Vicks. An Alisons Complete chromed header and exhaust system here . New KYB struts all 4 corners, New Stainless steel Coolant overflow box, NEW Brake Fluid Reservoir ( Yes NOS found in Elkhart IN a very rear part) H4 headlight conversion and head light relay mod. This mod is amazing, bright headlights and solved my brown wire issues! Sure I missed some other new items.
The Bad! NEEDS fine turning. Runs well, just NEEDS TUNING to get top performance out of it. Transmission was professionally rebuild by very veteran fiat tranny builder(ivan) one of the housing gaskets has a slow leak (new gasket included in purchase), Paint job sucks When painted after drivers door was hit and replaced ( the Minor Accident on the car fax report) the paint orange peeled bad, needs new one paint job, needs seat reupholstered ( a spare set of seats is included, was going to upholster these and swap them out). Turn signal switch does not return after turn (3 steering columns with all switches included.) Glove box door has a broken hinge new one included in spare parts, This is an A/C car and A/C does work! The electrical wire to the system came off at time of rebuild needs reattached. Sure I may have missed something here too.
Spare Parts! All removed parts at time of rebuild are included in purchase. Extra’s included with purchase are over 20 box’s of spare part including 4 bumpers, 3 convertible tops, 4 PHONE DIAL RIMS with 60% tread 185 60 13 / 205 60 13 Sumotomos and a set of 4 cd91 rims with NEW federal 595 185 60 13s these where freshly repainted, 6 steel rims, a custom tow bar built for x 1/9s, a new spare tire mounted, wiring harness, spare 1987 transmission, 2 complete exhaust systems if you prefer stock sound (one has catalytic converter bypass), ECU UNIT, Distributor, Rear windows 2, side door glass 2, Heater core and box, spare set of rear axles, set of 4 rebuild able calipers. Complete spare A/C system! TOO many parts to list all, but most any parts you would need is there. At time of pickup of car please bring a large truck or van to fit all these in there.
Bottom line it is a great car! I hate getting rid of her but my age, time (new job with busy work schedule) and health just are not conducive to keeping her. The parts I have listed total more than the buy it now price. I have way more into her than I know I can get out of her. Really just want to see her find a good home.
