With that being said, I am confident I know whats wrong and need to be fixed because I have worked extensively on this van and it has too many new parts to name. New spark plugs spark wires coil pack distributor air filter fuel pump and many more. Like I said I wanted this van to be super reliable. I would test drive it around my neighborhood every week to make sure it was ok and one weekend it went into limp mode ( meaning it was hesitating on purpose in order to protect the engine etc ) I hooked it up to my computer and the o2 sensors were going crazy ( oh yea new front o2 sensors ) so I took it to my local shop and they confirmed that they also think it was the catalytic converters. Here's the kicker, I'm like cool ill get some cats and change them and then it will be ready for the road but when I price a new set for this make and model the price is . .. 500 dollars ... ouch. I know you can weld a universal on but my goal was a blend between a work van with a little restored flare. So I put it on the back burner for a while and moved on to new projects and now I have to let her go because I know I wont realistically finish her in a timely manner.
So the only other problems other then the cats ( and i think its only one cat not both thats bad ) but anyway the only other things I know thats bad is the break line froze and cracked in the winter near the back left tire so that will need to be fixed and it will need a new battery
Cosmetically its in decent condition for a work van its age. Lots of pictures attached so you can have a look.
Lastly it has a line crack in the windshield that will have to be fixed to pass inspection.
Engine and transmission are strong which is why I wanted to replace everything else in order to have an awesome van in the end.
Also the mileage is shown as NOT ACTUAL ( or unknown ) on the title but that's because the DMV lady was a jerk and said the mileage was like 5 miles off from my bill of sale and said I had to redo the transaction and get it corrected with the dealership I bought it from. I bought the car out of my state so since I thought I was going to keep it forever, I didn't wanna go through the trouble but the mileage on the van is indeed the actual mileage which is 141, 620 and the odometer has not been touch and works correctly he simply made an error on the bill of sale.
You could part out or even scrap this van for more than Im asking so bid with confidence.
Any questions feel free to ask.
