For Sale $6, 200 1970 Ford F-100 Custom (long bed, 2wd)
Oringinal numbers matching 302 (V8) with a 3 speed manual trasmission column shift (3 on the tree), manual steering, power drum brakes, Odometer reads 19, XXX but I'm sure it's rolled over at least once.
I bought the truck in North Carolina a few years ago and drove it back with no problems. I drove it to Tenesssee last May for the F100 Super Nationals truck show, again with no prolems. This truck starts everytime and is a true daily driver. It is not a show truck by any means but I get a thumbs up everytime I take it out. Everything works on this truck.
Since I've had it I've done the following:
-Just repainted it inside and out. It's a DIY driveway paint job. Looks great from 10 feet away. It was painted with Farm/Implement enamel paint (Majic Paint, I.H. White) that when fully cured will be hard as nails
-New front wheel bearings
-New tires and chrome Cragar wagon wheel rims
-New master cylinder and added a power booster so now it has power brakes
-Replaced old points ignition with a Pertronix electronic ignition as well as a new coil, plugs and wires
-New parking brake cable and return spring
-New front and rear bumpers
-New sport style mirrors
-New seat cover, headliner and door panels
-New rubber floor mat, door seals and fuel filler grommet
-New turn signal switch
-New instrument panel glass
-New horn bushings
-New sill plates
-Added the sliding rear window
-New dome light
-Replaced broken light lenses, rear reflectors and grill inserts
-Installed correct battery hold down parts
-Window tint
-Modern stereo mounted in glove box and speaker box mounted behind the seat
If you want them you can have the original steel wheels with tires as well as the original rear glass.
