Offered here is what can only be defined as a MONSTER, and a rare one at that. This 2007 Ford F150 Saleen S331 Supercharged Sport Truck is nothing short of incredible, and with limited production numbers, it has become highly collectible. Saleen basically took an F150 and transformed it into a Mustang GT with a Supercharged 5.4L V8 that boots 450 horsepower. It goes 0-60 in 6.7 seconds, which is hair-raising in a shortbed pickup.
Only 398 trucks were built and this truck is number 97, badged on the front bumper and dashboard. Of the 398 S331's, only 145 were painted black clearcoat. Original MSRP for this truck was $56, 000. This example, number 97, hails from Oklahoma. Not that you would want to drive this truck in the snow, it has never been driven driven in bad weather and therefore has no rust. It has a clean CarFax report with no accidents and has been routinely maintained. Do a simple internet search and you soon realize how special and unique these trucks are. Original MSRP for this truck was $56, 000 and at the price offered here, it remains a great value for what you're getting. Noteworthy features of this truck are the custom pin-stripes, rocker panel quad exhaust, flat black wheels, bed tonneau cover, two-tone leather interior, upgraded Alpine display with rear back-up camera and aux audio input, and Saleen badges and stitching. The best reason for owning, though, is under the hood, especially the supercharged model.
Saleen offers two trucks, the S331 three-valve and the S331 Supercharged, the latter making 450 horsepower, in large part due to the cleverly designed twin-screw supercharger that sits in the block valley of the Ford 5.4-liter V-8. The stock three-valve 5.4-liter V-8 is rated at 325 horsepower.
