Up for auction is a super clean, and rust free classic Ford F-250. California built (R-Code) and has been in Southern California since new. All matching numbers and an overall amazing truck. Great optioned truck with the largest motor available in 1967.
Runs and drives excellent and handles really tight. Motor is super strong and does not smoke or leak. Duel exhaust gives the truck an awesome sound. The C6 transmission shifts firm and kicks-down as it should. All electrical aspects function properly including the gauges. The truck has brand new tires on all 4 corners with very nice original rims and hubcaps. The power brakes make this easy to drive and stops on a dime.
The body on this truck is arrow straight! The gaps for the doors, hood and tailgate are a perfect fit on this never been hit body. The paint job is high quality and the pictures do not do it justice. The interior of the cab has the matching paint color and is absolutely gorgeous. The gauges and dash bezel look brand new. The steering wheel is crack-free and perfect! The interior is all there and the rip-free bench seat is firm and comfortable.
This is an amazing find and a great deal for anyone looking for the first year of this body style. These 1967-1972 Ford F-250 Classic Trucks are skyrocketing in value and sought after all over the world. My reserve is set thousands below the Low Value of the NADA guide and it would not take much at all, to turn this into a $20, 000 show truck. To get it there, you will need a new driver's side headlight bezel ($85), freshen up the interior and detail the engine bay.
