This is one heck of a truck friends...I wanted a rig like this for several years. Most folks favor duallys for thier beefy appearance and thier handling. These Fords are the benchmark for style and durability. This model is a King Ranch and its designed for rugged brute applications. Having a F-450 is no longer considered an ordinary pickup, but its truly a commercial rig. Everything on this truck is large and also very expensive. Thats why they are valued at 70K and more. Its such a head turner driving down the road. I happen to have a terrible ego because of this specific truck. Hands down its the biggest and the best.
Look at the pictures and the build sheet. It will really give you (the reader), a perspective of the comfort and functionality here. This king ranch was purchased with every (yes, every) possible option offered by Ford. The King Ranch is a totally different animal even today. Money does buy happiness in this specific application! Each option is used hundreds of times a week too. You become spoiled riding this to the market, or running 500 miles on a trip. It was made for the highway friend. I pull up to a clients home as a builder and they see business! In the winter months, heated seats are great and the quick heat system is up and running fast. Lighting in the evening on this truck is nice too. Roof markers, running lights, fog lamps etc. ..They all have a purpose. The load capability is amazing, and has never been abused. I can pull trailers without concern. Being a local contractor, this truck does the basic builder routine. Nothing heavy, but its aways availabe should i require big muscle. I like that! The rear fuel tank with pump holds 94 galons of diesel and the main fuel tank holds 34 gallons.
Last month, The 6.4 liter diesel motor was completely overhauled & rebuilt. The motor had a knock in the lower end, so it was decided to fix it right. The Professional diesel shop ALL FORD SERVICE & REPAIR is known throught the area as a great Diesel Shop, and Mr. David Young and his crew began the lenghly process of rebuilding the motor. David went thru the motor bottom to top. It really was a supurb job too. Some items installed were a new high pressure fuel pump, bearing kit, Piston kit, retainers, gaskets, bearing crank, wire assemby, oil pan, push rods, cam valve seals, valve job, crank shaft, etc. David also rebuilt and replaced fuel rails, injectors, nozzles, fuel pump, water pump, etc. Folks, this motor is top notch. David warantees his motor work also. Friends. ..David and I both are christian men, and recognize that taking the high road isn't cheap, but its the right thing to do! All paperwork and warrantee info will be given to the new buyer. David also replaced the rear springs, completed a new steering box installation and this week, the rear seals will be replaced.
Friends, I want this truck to be something special for the new owner, and the above information is truth. Call 203 449-1252 for any questions you may have pertaining to this F-450. She is a realy good truck and shoud be appreciated. I have enjoyed using her.
At the start of the day, you really are ready for anything! The ride is a comfortable, stiff journey. She turns very well with the new steering box and earlier this summer, a complete front end build. Maintenance is really important in these trucks due to the roads in Connecticut. I periodicaly get a front end alignment for better tracking and the tires are bead balanced. These tires are 19.5 10 lug, which was the highest option on the king ranch. When traveling distance, I am always adjusting the electric seats and electric pedals depending on my back issue. Electric moon roof and rear slider are always being adjusted for your chosen air flow. The satellite radio and optional phone link allows for the Pandora to be played over the speakers. My family likes riding in the rear bucket seats and they are sharp looking too. These were a 3500 dollar option! I have new King Ranch carpet mats arriving this week. Tool box (over the auxiliary fuel tank) holds alot of items and isnt in the way of loading the truck. These beds are 8 feet 1 inch long. The rear step assist at the truck bed is the best invention ever.

“Friends, Here are the defects and problems: Truck has light scratches and a couple of bumper dings. (see Pictures). Wear and tear as expected. I Like Keeping this rig looking good. Tiny surface rust spot on rear bumper. Truck only pulls 30000 lbs. Truck is a huge monster. It takes 5 minutes to walk around the truck. Truck is longer than the "A" train heading to New York. Color is a magnet for jealous folks. You will need sunglasses to hide your identity. 128 gallon fuel capacity requires 2 tanker trucks to fill her. You can only drive for 3 days without stopping at a fuel station. Step at bumper makes me feel old. Tool box holds only 45 power tools. Telescoping folding mirrors cause (way too cool syndrome). Entry into the truck requires an elevator. truck has more exterior marker lights than the Vegas Strip. Truck is so comfortable, that I drive for miles past my stop. Crew cab doors offer too many entry points. This King Ranch has more "options" than a wall street trader.” |
