Here's a Nice Original 1969 Ford Galaxie LTD Hard top. Comes with Original Paint and the Rare Brougham interior. Born with a 390 C6 Auto this Rare Galaxie hard top has PS PB AC Tinted Glass Front Disc Brakes. Galaxie Clubs claims one out of around 1850 born with interior out of about 9000 made for the 4-Door HT. This has the same engine as the Mustang and trans. The Car yard drives and been sitting around awhile. All cars have a story this one is interesting...As It goes, Johnny has looking for a new car for his mom. Back in the day 1969..There has a union strike..no ordering as available Only to pick a car from the lot . the Cadilliac she wanted was'nt available..driving past the ford dealer this one was spoted. Knowing Carson ..he replaced the front seat with a electic power Seat from a Cadilliac one and the story was born.The joke on the show was it's a Ford but rides like a Cadilliac. If it true or not ?? But this car is ALL original and comes from NEB-OK and needs someone to restore it bring to it; Glory.The paint in faded Original color..the interior is not bad...dash has some cracks..carpet needs replaced..it has a mostly burn off vinyl top from the hot sun...needs tires ( old ) Brakes were service acouple of years ago.. Engine had a valve job and a timing chain.Air does'nt work like all old cars and replaced all New hoses belts and oil.on the engine. It shows 125, 000 and runs good. For the bad..needs a gas tank..rust inside ..Tanks on ebay-175.00..have NOS sender pick up goes with the car..but runs from a bottle of gas..This would be a nice easy car to restore. Shows very minor rust on the dog legs and aspot big as a half dollar on each 1/4..no holes Its sold in as in condition..This car has a nice straight body could be a Excellent Cruiser for Fun, and a easy restoration or maybe a restomod
