Up for auction is 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door fastback!! Car is currently being partly restored due to cost of restoration.
What has been done in the restoration is both rear quarter panels replaced, complete engine rebuild, custom pint job and all body rust eliminated.
The paint job is a custom mix on the body is a jalapeño green and the roof is a custom grey mixed with gunmetal and charcoal.
The motor was stripped from carb to pan, the block machined, all new gaskets including piston rings and all inside motor conponents cleaned. It has been painted back to original ford blue.
The interior is in great shape for being all original. It has vynal headliner which is pristine no rips or tears. The dash is completely functional and has no cracks. The carpet is perfect with no rips in it. The only defects are in the seating, the outer seating is leather which is in great shape however the cloth inner would need to be replaced.
As you can see in the pictures the car is almost complete with the work i discribed. It only needs the front end radiator put on and hood bolted down and all the chrome trim put back on. This will all be completed in 24 hours. The only other work to be done for complete restoration would be brake work (calipers/pads) and some more body work. ( if you choose to do that I can provide the paint color)
