This is a 1 owner, 2DR, 2000 Ford Mustang, with 188, 824 miles. I bought this vehicle new in 2000 for my daughter to drive locally and back/forth to High School/College. It was subsequently passed down to my youngest son who also drove it in High School/College. I am not going to try to hype a vehicle that is high mileage only to say this has been the most reliable car I have ever owned. I have always maintained the car as far as regular oil changes and other basic maintenance and safety needs. It has been garaged most of its existence. The car runs fine but needs a good tune up. The air conditioning is so cold you will be reaching for a coat. All gages work, power windows, power seats work great and there is an Alpine stereo and 2 Kicker subwoofers in the trunk that can blast some tunes. I replaced the transmission approximately 10 years ago. I would rate the exterior original paint (silver) above average, but again this is a 15 year old vehicle and there are some bumps. bruises, nicks, and scrapes, but nothing that significantly detracts from overall appearance of the vehicle. The interior is above average for a car of this age, however, there was an attempted break in about 10 years ago during which time the perpetrator while trying to steal the stereo damaged the console. There has absolutely never been any smoking in the car. The engine runs fine but again needs a tune up and an oil change/filer. There is a temporary oil drain plug that needs to be replaced. The tires are nearly new and have been driver less than 5, 000 miles .
I believe this to be a reliable around town type of vehicle which might fit the needs a student as a first car. I simply would not send this car or any car with this number of miles on a road trip to Alaska.
