This a great car, and rare. Pretty much everything on this has been restored. Just painted. Color is Brittany Blue and it is awesome (original color on the car). There is NO RUST ANYWHERE left on this car. All of it has been removed and parts replaced. Its is like having a nearly new car. Here is what has been done to the car within the last 6 months.
-Brand new frame from the front all the way to the rear wheel wells.
-New floor panels, and front wheel wells, everything professionally welded in place. New Splash Guards in front wheel wells front and back of well.
-Underbody sprayed. Anything under the car not sprayed was painted with POR15.
-New front suspension and steering components, upper and lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods, all joints, shocks front
-New brakes including master cylinder, brake lines, hoses, pads everything.
-New fuel lines from the tank to the carb, new sending unit inside the tank, fuel filter and pump-Carb professionally rebuilt
-New Ignition Coil, Points, Condenser, plugs, wires,
-5 brand new tires (spare too)
-All radiator and heater hoses.
-New Speedo Cable.
-New Turn Signal Switch inside steering column
-Heater tubing and plenum chamber,
-Shifter rebuild kit
-New Battery
-All new rubber around the car - window fuzzies inside and out, new weather stripping all the way around, trunk weather stripping, cowl strip, convertible top seal.
-The only thing I did not replace was the interior seats (two tone) because they are in very good shape. A couple of nicks/small tears on back of front seats along with some minor wear.
-The interior of the car (metal doors and dash) are painted to match the exterior, where appropriate.
-I have installed the new carpet as well.
-New Seat Belts all the way around.
-New Canvas top and boot well lining. Top is power and works great.
-Has a great running straight 6 with a 3 speed manual transmission. Everything runs great.
-All gauges work except maybe the voltage meter. Lights all check out. Has turn signals in the hood scoops. Has a clock but it is not working. I have not tried to determine why. Radio is original and works.
I have the original boot which matches the car.
Mileage shown in this auction is what is showing on the odometer. Not believed to be actual mileage. No idea what the actual mileage is.
You can probably find a car cheaper but when you think about the time and money you will put into the list above you will no doubt spend more and drive less!
NADA at average retail puts this car at $26, 560 and High Retail at $41, 000. Can be yours for half of that and in nearly perfect condition. Drive train is all original, matching numbers. Title in hand, clear.
