Listed for auction is my 1987 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. This is an amazing car with 52, 000 original miles! I have a vehicle history report confirming the mileage and history of mileage at time of registration/renewal. The car is garage kept and not driven very often. We are moving and that is the only reason for the sale. I really love this car and have enjoyed it for the time I owned it.
The car has an upgraded cam, TrickFlow intake, BBK shorty headers and Flowmaster exhaust. It also has a $500 tuner chip to match the upgrades. Within the past year I have also replaced the battery and the car was professionally tuned which included new cap, plugs and wires. In addition they replaced the oil pan (as there was a small leak) and the power steering pump. The engine runs strong, has a nice growl to it and the car is very quick on takeoff. It is also great to cruise around with the top down.
The car is white with matching white wheels; you will not see another one just like this. The previous owner had the top replaced to match the interior. The top is basically brand new and works great. The power windows are functioning (recently replaced the window motors). The power locks however do not work. I replaced the actuators and that did not fix the problem. A local repair shop told me it is a fuse that needs replaced. Air conditioning blows cold and heater works well. Car shifts strong and OD works as well. Front tires will eventually need replaced and rear tires are basically new. The interior is in good condition and there are no major defects. I have tried to take the best pictures possible to show the condition of the car, but being nearly 30 years old the car is not perfect. That being said, it is in very nice condition, runs great and will certainly turn heads in your city.
This is a no reserve auction and I have set the starting bid rather than having a secretive reserve price. I am a serious seller and only looking for serious bidders. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds to purchase the car. $1, 000 deposit due via Pay Pal within 48 hours of auction closing. Remainder of payment due with Cashiers Check or cash within 7 days of auction closing. There are no warranties with this car and it is being sold as-is. Buyer is responsible for shipping or picking up the car locally.
