This is a very limited 2008 GT500KR Coupe made in 2008 to commemorate the 40th anniversay of the original 1968 KR. It starts life in Detroit as a standard GT500 then is Shipped to Las Vegas where shelby changes the suspention, recalibrates the engine for more horsepower and the brakes for a more agressive driver. A carbon fiber hood, Splitter and mirror caps are added along with special engine caps. The rear gear set is change from the standard 3.31 to 3.73. A special rear cover is added on the diferential to assist in cooling. When the final product is revealed, you have a totally diffferent car then your standard GT500. This is a very limited car. Silver was the more common color for this lineup but, it is also the only color not available on the GT500. The car has been driven so yes, the car has wear as you would expect any car but, it is in very good condition. There is a lein on the car. These cars were very expensive in 2008, with some greedy dealers asking over 100K and as a result, a lot of them sat. The values have gone down until lately and have stabilized. Only reason I am selling is I have an opportunity to purchase something a bit more special and like most of us, I cant keep both. Thanks for looking and good luck.
