You are bidding on a 1989 Ford Mustang LX. It may not look like much, but it's got it where it countsThis mustang was originally a 4 cylinder, but has had a full powertrain upgrade as well as suspension and frame. Powering this beast is a newly custom built 306ci supercharged motor pumping out close to 600hp!! Behind it is a custom built Freddy Brown 4STB tranny with full manual valve body and a B&M ratchet shifter. At the back is a 9 rear with Detroit Locker posi and 3.73 gears. Full build sheet and spec sheet (with pics) is available for all the motor details. The interior is in pretty good shape with extra gauges, switches and racing seats. It also has a sound system with a high end kenwood head unit, upgraded speakers and a subwoofer. The body, however, needs attention. The paint is faded and there is some rust, but nothing deeper then the surface. It has Weld Draglite rims with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that still have plenty of life. This car has been in my life for about 15 years, but due to the lack of funds and time it must go. It has been sitting for a few years, but I start it from time to time to keep things fresh. Besides needing a good cleaning, this car is ready for the road. The motor was only built a few years ago and has very little miles on it as well as a brand new exhaust.
