Very nice, well maintained '15 Ecoboost with some great mods that make the car handle like nothing else! Starting with a nearly loaded 2015 Ecoboost Premium, the car came with every single option except the Performance Pack, which I replaced with doing my own suspension and other mods that make the car out-perform any Performance Pack Mustang. Major options include; Premium Package 201A - includes a host of options in the $1800 price tag, including Shaker Audio with HD sound and subwoofer and many, many others.
50th Anniversary Package $1600 - embossed seats, rear gas cap, special grill, chrome headlight trim, and bright silver 19 wheels with Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires. I've also added 50th floor mats and trunk mat.
6 speed, select shift auto trans, $1200. Includes a manual mode which locks the torque converter. Feels like driving a manual transmission only without a clutch. Paddle shifters!
Enhance Security Package - no need for a key to unlock doors or lock doors. Very cool!
Adaptive Cruise Control, $1200 - best option I've ever used. Set it and forget it. Keeps you at a set distance behind the car in front of you, no matter how fast you have it set or how fast the car in front of you is going. Returns you to the set speed when there is no more obstacle in front of you.
A total of $7360 worth of options on this car, ending up with a sticker price of $37, 485
Additionally, I've made a host of modifications to the car to make it perform better. Friends who have driven it on a track, say it handles better than their own PP equipped GT's and previous generation GT500's!
All receipts are included for all mods, parts, repairs, service, etc.
Eibach handling kit with sport springs and thicker sway bars with poly sway bar bushings. lowers the car 1.5 inches, while keeping a satisfactory ride quality.
Brembo front brake upgrade. Includes 14 rotors with four piston Brembo calipers. Car stops on Roosevelt's head on the dime!
Lightweight wheels with Barum Barvarius II tires. Super sticky meats that make the car stick like glue! Original wheels that have been plasti-dipped with the original Pirelli's that have 20k miles on them are included. Three sets of wheels/tires in all!
Like new full set of GTradial snow tires with factory 18 Mustang GT wheels. This allows the car to get around in snow like you wouldn't believe! I've had FWD cars not get around as good as this car does. Put it in snow/rain mode and it'll go anywhere!
Rear subframe isolation kit. Stiffens the four mounting bushings for the IRS subframe which tends to move around a lot when cornering, or even shifting gears in a 1/4 mile run.
AirRaid cold air kit - adds over 20HP!
Roush axle back exhaust. Straight through design gives the car a great tone. I kept the stock main resonator to keep the noise down as the car does serve as my daily driver/work vehicle.
Steeda throttle body spacer - adds a couple HP while providing a vortex to the intake charge for better burn, better throttle reponse and increased MPG's
2016 Shelby GT350 steering wheel. This wheel is made of Alcantara suede with a red stripe at the 12 o'clock position. It has a flat bottom and is slightly smaller than the stock wheel. A $500 addition!
Lots of tasteful stainless trim on the interior. You'd never know it didn't belong there or was put there by Ford.
Stripe kit with hood strip and rocker strips with red trim. Similar to the Foose Mustang.
Roush quarter window scoops and rocker winglets.Other mods not currently installed, and for a good reason.I had the Roush/Yates by JMS Tuning, BoostMax and PedalMax on the car along with a Cobb tuner with three tunes available. Stock, 87 octane and 93 octane. While doing a High Performance Drives Education course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the Mustang Club of America's 40th Anniversary Event, the motor developed a problem. It ended up with having to replace the entire engine, turbo charger and intercooler. Ford did not cover the warranty since the car was running 10 pounds of boost over the stock 20 pounds. (So don't believe these warranty friendly claims made by some companies. Even with a nearly $3000 discount, the bill came to $5000 to replace and repair. The good news? The car comes with a new, additional, 24 month/24, 000 mile warranty on the engine! This is on top of the extended 100k mile warranty that comes with the car.
The car had the EXACT SAME engine mods found on a Roush Stage 1 Ecoboost Mustang!!
Needless to say, these parts were not reinstalled, but they do come with the car and the new owner can do with them what they wish. The total of these three mods run $1300! Only the warranty friendly mods were left on the car. Those described above like the CAI, exhaust, etc. The tuner ($500), Boostmax ($400) and PedalMax ($400) will come with the car.
With the BoostMax, the car dyno'd at 289Hp and 347 ft lb torque. Without the BoostMax, the car did 265/334. This attests to how well the CAI and exhaust work together to build power. The extra boost after that did little. The car is FAST and handles like any car ending in a vowel!
I have nearly $50, 000 invested in the car, and the receipts to prove it. The only reason I'm selling is I'm now getting a company car and our car allowance is being taken away. It doesn't make sense to have a $600 car payment for a car that would essentially end up as a toy, so my loss is your gain.
