Here is your chance to by a new Terminator Cobra mustang in the ultra rare Mystichrome color. In 2004 there was a total of 1010 Mystichrome Cobras produced, 495 convertibles, 515 coupes. This is #957 of the 1010 produced. In addition to being rare, this car was also one of the randomly selected SVT factor test cars where ford put 8.5 miles on the car at the factory deeming the car as a defect free cobra.
Here is a brief history of the car. The original owner ordered 2 Mystichrome Cobras in 2004 one coupe and one convertible. Both were trailered to a private collection and housed in a climate controlled building. The convertible was eventually driven by the owner and sold a few years after purchase. The coupe remained. The car was started at least once a month, brought up to temp to keep the engine fresh. They also used non ethonal gas to limit corrosion. At this time the car had only 16.7 miles. Remember 8.5 was placed on at the factory, the additional miles were from moving around in the building. In July 2014 I purchased the car from the original owner. At this point I was unsure what I was going to do with the car, keep it the way it was or drive. I trailered the car in an enclosed trailer to my house and parked in my climate controlled garage. In 2015 I decided to drive the car a bit. In April the car was registered for the very first time in the cars history. In May the car was taken to Bill Talley Ford where a close friend of mine who also owns a couple rare mustangs completed a new inspection, first one from the original back in 2004, also did a full fluid flush and added nitro fill to the original tires as nitro keeps the pressure more consistent. I drove the car a few times after and decided to add an after market exhaust, Borla Atak at 130 miles. I do have the original which is included in the sale. I also have the original oil filter that will also go with the sale. Additionally I have the factory plastic seat covers for the seats and steering wheel. The car also still has the original radio sticker in place and the red gas pedal sticker in place. Other than a new battery, everything else is 100% as it came from the factory. If needed I can switch the exhaust back, it's about a 30 minute job.
This was a very difficult decision to sell. This is probably one of the lowest mile Mystichrome Cobras in existence. The car will be a strong collector car in the future and will only go up in value. The car is perfect and new!
I have the title in hand no lien. I also have a 2015 Pace enclosed car trailer that has a Mystichrome Cobra on the back door. This will be sold as well and if interested we can discuss after the sale. I will assist with shipping and may even use the trailer to do it myself within a few hundred miles for an extra cost.
