This is a rare 1952 F1 Ford pick-up which is the last year Ford produced F-1s. I have owned this pick-up for 20-25 years. In 2003/2004 I had the 289 cu. in. V-8 engine rebuilt, a 4 barrel carburetor added, a Mustang II clip front suspension added, power steering, new wiring, new gears, hurst shifter, new goodyear tires and vintage air installed. The engine compartment has been painted midnight blue which was the original color of the truck. After having all of this work done, I drove the truck for less than 100 miles before parking it in my garage where it sat until early 2015. At that time, I had the truck towed to a local hot rod shop where they replaced the carburetor and the gas tank and did a minor tune up on it before starting it again. At the time I parked this truck it was in excellent mechanical condition. There is a lot of surface rust on the truck. There are a few pin hole rust holes on the tailgate and below the windshield on the drivers' side and rust on the rear bottom on both front fenders (see photos). The bed has been replaced with a sheet of steel over the damaged wooded boards. I have a lot of money invested in this truck and will have to sell it at a loss but that is the way it goes sometime.
