Thanks for looking at our auction - we are an estate sale company based in Fairfield County, CT, occasionally we get cars from estates & charity auctions, when we do we post them on eBay . . . . this is a 2002 Ford Taurus SES. . . with LOW MILEAGE of 82k . . . .one owner . . . . .leather, alloy wheels, spoiler, factory CD. . . ORIGINAL OWNER . . . . .VERY clean. . .NO rust. . .NON smoker . . . . great color combination. We can send you a copy of the CarFax report. . .THIS CAR WAS 100% DEALER SERVICED (FORD of BRANFORD, CT) its all in the CarFax report. - EVEN THE OIL CHANGES WERE ALL DONE AT THE DEALER PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE CAR If you are mechanically inclined . . . . this car is for you. . . . . it runs and drives GREAT, very nice. . transmission shifts great, the engine runs at proper temperature . . . . . . .but there is an issue with the car. . . you can drive it all day on the highway. . . .or around town. . . .SOMETIMES (more often than not). . . when you come to a stop. . . .the check engine light blinks and the car sputters (does not stall) . . . .it does not do this all the time. . . .its intermittent. . .if you take off again it seems fine, but sometimes the check engine light comes back on, then back off. . . .that why I personally think its something simple, could be a bad wire, a bad spark plug, I'm really not sure . . . . it does not overheat or smoke, not really sure what the issue is. . . could be a $1 fix ! could be much more . . .who knows . . . . . . . our main business is estate sales. . .not cars, we are too busy to deal with this . . . . . I think this is more of a diagnosis challenge than a cost to fix issue. . . .we paid quite a bit for the car because it is so nice . . . . our loss is your gain . . BIDDING STARTS AT $1 - NO RESERVE. . . . sold as-is. . . Perfect CarFax report. . . . everything is nice and clean, door panels, seats, carpets, burgundy exterior paint is nice with great deep shine (except front bumper, it faded) . . .tan leather interior is very clean, no rips and previous owner was a non spoker. . . it runs and drives GREAT (except for issue we mentioned). . . Transmission shifts perfectly . . . . .the engine runs excellent (starts instantly and runs smooth and maintains proper temperature) . . . . . . .the tires are fine with plenty of tread . . . . appears to have NEVER been smoked in (lighter and ashtray unused) . . . naturally there are the usual small dings, scrapes and flaws. . .but overall VERY minor. . . .as you can see from the photos the paint and the interior are very nice. . . . it features the Duratec V6 engine, automatic transmission - a/c (blows cold) - power steering - power brakes - power windows and locks - airbag - tilt wheel - am-fm-cd - anti-lock brakes . . . .due to the issue the bidding starts at $1 and sold NO RESERVE. It has a clear ORIGINAL 2002 Connecticut title and bill of sale . . .this car was donated to the Purple Heart Charity and we bought it from them at auction . . .OVERALL this is a great car with proper repair made. . . . . . . . .
