When I bought the car it was in the middle of being restored. According to the seller it has a new rebuilt engine and transmission. He ran out of money so it was sold to me.
I had a repair center go through the car to make it in drivable condition. After that it was sent to the body shop where they refinished it. I can give those interested the body shop's number so they can answer any questions.
This is a 59 year old car and is not a ground up restoration. It is a nice driver and is not 100 points and needs a new top.
The best thing about classic cars they go up in value while you can enjoy them. If you go to Hagarty Car Values they put the average value at $41600 see below link to Hagerty. Also a good insurance company. Also on the line is the insurance of $170 for 6 months to insur if you need insurance.
