~ 2000 CHEVY GEO METRO ~
91, 660 Original Miles, 5 Speed, 45-50 MPG, Engine Runs Good, Tires Decent, Some Rust and Rot Holes Here and There, All in All Decent For a Great Gas Efficient Car at Close to 50 MPG, Brand New Mirror installed on Drivers Door that is not shown in picture. Runs and Drives But Needs Frame Repair on 1 side right away. Also needs an inner and outer cv boot, joints are good. Should be Towed when picked up Or will Drive onto a flatbed or car trailer. The muffler is missing, though it really doesn't sound that loud. I looked underneath and it would need a resonator and a muffler. There's a place called Rock Auto that we get parts from online and a direct fit muffler is $38.79 and the resonator is $39.79, the rot in the back that you noticed does not go through the second wall. One thing I did forget to mention is the drivers window regulator tilts crooked as you roll it up and you just have to help it go straight. I suspect it just needs a retaining clip on one side where the regulator attaches to the window. The right frame has a soft spot at the front of where the inner control arm attaches to the frame rail and it could have metal welded in to reinforce it, but definitely has an issue.The car is also listed in our local paper and online for $700 or Best Offer so we reserve the right to pull the auction should it sell local. Otherwise High bidder here will take the car.
