This Geo Metro is in great mechanical condition despite the high mileage. In the last couple of years during my ownership almost everything was rebuilt/replaced or modified. It is a long list, starts with rebuilt cylinder head (retained the XFI camshaft) all the timing components, water pump , radiator, alternator, starter.Rebuilt exchange transmission (no more long fifth gear), rebuilt axles, struts , lower control arms, rear shocks, brake calipers/rotors, new catalytic converter, and also all the normal service items where changed regularly. The body is in good condition - always a Southern California car - rust is not a issue. Has many dings and scratches -the roof and left rear quarter panel was painted recently the rest has no major issues, only the left seal has a dent , not visible the skirt is covering.
The car was modified with Suzuki GT parts: side skirts, roof spoiler, tail lights, rear parcel tray, mud flaps. Also Grant steering wheel , leather shift knob, Suzuki instrument cluster-with tach. AM/FM cassette Geo radio-not the best, but is working.
Everything is function as it suppose to, windows go up and down but will need manual help to seal perfect, rear defrost is good but not yet connected.
Auction also include a set of 13 inches wheels, new California catalytic converter, and a large box of extra parts.Two keys, original manual.
Car is registered/insured can be driven anywhere, i have the clean title. If you need, I can store the Geo for couple of weeks.
