Badged as a Suzuki Sidekick
This truck is an automatic transmission 4 wheel drive vehicle. It was my daily driver until 1994. I've only moved it occasionally since then. I need the space in my driveway back so I'm parting with this little gem. I really loved this truck and wanted to keep it, but I simply do not have the room any more.
THE GOOD:
Really good aftermarket sound system including a Pioneer CD player with iPod direct wire. Pioneer 6x9 rear speakers too. Seats are in pretty nice shape. I am not a smoker. I think the previous owner was as there is a small burn mark on the driver side seat. Truck does NOT smell like smoke at all. Split rear folding seats. Work really well as they're supposed to. Other than the mentioned burn, NO rips or tears in the seats. Carpet is nice. 2 Piece removable hard top. Just the roof over the front seats can be removed or just the back shell can be removed, or go topless and remove them both. Roof is a composite plastic. Original and well made. I purposely did not clean any part of the truck before taking pictures, because I really wanted to depict an accurate picture. This thing does look great cleaned up though.
THE BAD:
The engine has a knock. I would count on needing to trailer or tow this truck if you want to buy it. It starts, runs and drives. Transmission is strong. Shifts nicely. I still would not trust driving this truck very far without rebuilding the engine. The knock gets louder if you take it more than a few blocks. I have no ability to rebuild the engine myself and I can't afford to put the money into having it done right now. I purchased a second one of these to use the engine, but that one turned out to be no good either. I do have lots of extra parts for the truck that I will be putting on ebay to help pay for that mistake. Winner of this truck will get first pick at the extra parts at a nominal extra charge before I list them. I want the winner to have everything they might want to make this truck their own. The rear window lift arms are worn and the hatch won't stay open unless you put a clip on it. I used a small vice grip to hold it up. But the lift arms don't work. Tires are pretty old and I would replace them if driving very far on this truck.
THE UGLY:
Look, it's 22 years old. Well loved and driven every day. It's not mint. Some scratches, chips, dings and dents. Not bad, easily fixed if that's your thing. Although this IS a GEO, I re-badged it as a Suzuki sidekick. My wife's choice. Couldn't find her a Suzuki, so we make the GEO a Suzuki. Purchased the badges on ebay and stuck them on. But again, this is a GEO Tracker.

I'm not the first owner. I absolutely love this truck and would totally keep it if I could fix it myself.
